What services does SK Drones offer?
We offer drone mapping, 3D modeling, drone thermal camera inspections, drone laser scanning, and drone consulting for industrial companies.
Which areas does SK Drones operate in?
We serve the whole of Finland. We have pilots based in Helsinki, Tampere, Jyväskylä and Oulu, and we also carry out projects outside these cities, as well as within the EU when needed.
What authorization does SK Drones operate under?
SK Drones has held a Traficom special category authorization (SORA methodology) since 2018. This allows safe, permitted flight operations even in demanding environments, such as active construction sites, without needing to halt work.
How does a drone project proceed from order to delivery?
We start with a needs assessment and provide a free quote. After the agreement, we plan the flight, carry out the capture or survey on site, and process the data. The finished data set is usually delivered within a few business days of the flight.
How much do drone services cost?
The price depends on the service, the size of the site, and the type of data to be delivered. We always provide a free, site-specific quote before starting a project.
How does SK Drones differ from other drone companies?
We have unusually broad, genuinely nationwide coverage with pilots based in Helsinki, Tampere, Jyväskylä and Oulu, and we offer several services under one roof, from orthophotos to laser scanning and consulting. Our special category authorization also enables more demanding operations on active work sites without interrupting operations.
Does SK Drones also operate outside Finland?
Yes, we also carry out projects within the EU when needed.
